Shamrock Sports: Not your typical sports stories. 

Brian (aka Scrappy) uses his sarcastic sense of humor when writing about current sports stories.  He tries to engage the reader through humor while informing them of up to date stories in sports as well as some current events.

Brian worked for ESPN Radio for two years.  While at ESPN in Virginia he covered local and regional sports for the website espninva.com.  He also did play-by-play and production work. 

Since then his love for sports has not diminished as he travels the U.S, looking for new adventures.

In his free time you can find him mountain biking or hiking.  He enjoys extreme sports and pushing his own limits in them. 

Other things not involving sports are very few, but music is another passion.  Brian took on the personna of DJ Scrappy for live events as well as for his work at a top 40 radio station.
